Privacy Policy
1. Scope
This Privacy Policy explains how Fast Leaf Inc. ("Fast Leaf," "we," "us") handles personal information collected through fastleafinc.ca and in the course of our business. It is governed by Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and applicable provincial privacy law.
This site is operated by a federally licensed cannabis producer. Visitors must be of legal age in their province or territory. By using this site you confirm that you meet that requirement.
2. What we collect
We collect only what we need to operate the business, serve buyers, and meet our regulatory obligations.
- Information you provide: name, business name, email, phone, and any details you include in inquiries through our contact form or by email.
- Age and location verification: the province or territory you select and the date of birth you enter at our age gate. This is stored in your browser session for 24 hours and is not transmitted to us.
- Automatic information: IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and referring URL, collected by our hosting platform for security and aggregate analytics.
- Cookies and similar technologies: see Cookie Notice.
We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under the legal age of cannabis consumption in their jurisdiction.
3. Why we collect it
- To respond to inquiries about wholesale supply, partnership, careers, or press.
- To confirm visitors meet the legal age threshold required to view cannabis-related content in Canada.
- To operate, secure, and improve our website.
- To meet our obligations under the Cannabis Act and related regulations.
4. Consent
By submitting a form or sending us an email, you consent to our use of the information you provide for the purposes described above. You can withdraw consent at any time by emailing privacy@fastleafinc.ca, subject to any legal or contractual requirements that may prevent immediate deletion.
6. Retention
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes for which it was collected, or as required by law. Inquiry records are typically retained for up to 24 months; records subject to regulatory requirements are kept for the period the law specifies.
7. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information. No method of transmission over the internet is fully secure; while we apply industry-standard protections, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Your rights
Under PIPEDA you have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you.
- Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information.
- Withdraw consent (subject to legal or contractual restrictions).
- Complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada at priv.gc.ca.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at privacy@fastleafinc.ca.
